Skate videos these days disappoint me much more then they wow me like they once did when I was younger. Even looking back on video's I used to like dont have the same effect on me they once did.
Exceptions include És Menikmati and anything by Girl Films.
The good news is that Girl Films is releasing their newest flick Pretty Sweet, pretty soon, November 16th.
Girl Films is known for going all out with their videos, usually implementing various production techniques with the help of popular director Spike Jones.
The film has been in production for years. There is no doubt in my mind that it will be a top seller.
One thing that differentiates this film from others is that is entirely shot in HD video. Check out the trailer below.

King Of The Ave 2012
King Of The Ave 2012
On the weekend of Oct 26 - 28 Refuge Skateboard shop in Dearborn Michigan had all local skaters going wild in the streets for their sixth annual King Of The Ave competition.
The contest is all about getting together a team consisting of six: five skaters and one filmer. Over the weekend the teams traverse Michigan Avenue completing challenges given by the owner of Refuge Eric Z, and trying to make the best video possible.
On sunday all the teams met at The Streets skatepark to play all the videos and receive prizes for their efforts.
Here is my teams video from the weekend.
Overall it was a good time like always. Many are already awaiting next years competition.

New Deathwish Graphics

I dont like the cartoonish graphics that Deathwish has been putting out, but i do like that they are stepping up their size game. The majority of these are 8.0 and up. Im expecting Baker to do the same(finally), especially after seeing this...

Anyway, the idea here is less of this..

More of this...

Please and thank you
